Lucid Sight has announced a deal with CBS Interactive to bring Star Trek into its forthcoming space trading and combat game CSC (aka Crypto Space Commander).
The result will see what Lucid Sight labels “a selection of iconic Star Trek starships” including the USS Enterprise being made available later in 2019 via a time-limited NFT pre-sale.
The market for NFTs has been hotting up in 2019, with the first race car from official F1 game F1 Delta Time selling for 416 ETH (c.$110,000) in late May.
“Star Trek inspired me at a young age to pursue a career in technology, it is such a privilege to get the chance to bring Star Trek into a new frontier with the first blockchain USS Enterprise,” said Lucid Sight co-founder and CTO Fazri Zubair.
