Kaidro set for first NFT mint on Ronin

On the back of joining the Ronin ecosystem in February 2024, developer Gadget-Bot is now set to mint its first Kaidro NFTs on the network.

In what will be a free mint, Kaidro players can lay hands on a Journal NFT, which contains various future benefits including access to Kaidro’s forthcoming Mech mint and questing portal.

Starting 14th March, the mint is limited to one NFT per Ronin wallet, and will be revealed 24 hours following the mint. Users who want to participate in the mint must connect their Ronin wallet, and proceed via Kaidro’s website.

Best known for its 2020 webtoon series, Kaidro has evolved into both an animation and a multiplayer action RPG. In terms of the game, it’s set in a post-apocalyptic world in which a mech-wielding faction battles against powerful magic users. With three teams of three players, each with various missions to complete and enemies to fight, Kaidro combines PVP, PVE, and a quest system.

More generally, minting activity has seen a large increase on Ronin in 2024, since a growing number of games from third-party developers have deployed on the network. In February Zillion Whales’ Wild Forest minted its first NFT packs, followed by Directive Games’ The Machines Arena minting its NFT skins, and Pixels minting its Pet NFTs on the network.

“We’re excited to see Ronin builders bring their visions to life. Our partners are laying the foundation for an exciting year ahead, and it feels like we’re just getting started,” commented the Ronin team.
