WAX partners with AWS’ managed blockchain service

Web3 gaming ecosystem WAX is partnering with Amazon Web Services to integrate its web3 tools into the Amazon Managed Blockchain (AMB) service.

AMB is designed to help developers build apps and games using blockchain by offering them direct access to multiple web3 networks. Following the integration, WAX will now enable developers to deploy their nodes through the AWS console, without needing specialized infrastructures. Developers can then use their WAX nodes to build on both WAX mainnet and testnet.

In addition, WAX offers developers its suite of builder tools, including

  • Cloud Wallet,
  • Single-sign-on services,
  • Native random number generator,
  • Developer portal,
  • Cross-chain bridge, and
  • Blockchain explorer tool.

This integration is an extension of WAX’s and Amazon’s already existing partnership. Recently WAX-based TCG Brawlers collaborated with Amazon Prime Gaming.

“The new partnership between WAX and Amazon Web Services is a major next step on our journey to the mass adoption of Web3, enabling both blockchain-native and traditional Web2 developers alike to start building their applications on the WAX blockchain or implement decentralized features into their existing projects with ease,” commented WAX CTO Lukas Sliwka.

“Today, Web3 is an already massive and rapidly evolving sector that aims to revolutionize our digital space, but that doesn’t mean it should evolve in a vacuum. By uniting the power of blockchain with traditional Web2 frameworks, we can offer developers the best of both worlds, supercharging the growth of next-gen applications with the help of immense cloud computing capabilities provided by AWS,” added Nikolaros, BountyBlok, Top 21 Block Producer on WAX.
