South Korean developer NDUS Interactive has announced a collaboration with German sports brand Adidas.
More particularly, exclusive digital content from Adidas’ ALTS collection is entering Xociety, NDUS’ third person shooter with RPG elements. The news was announced via X, with a link to a joint project website counting down to 8th May, presumably when further details of the partnership will be revealed.
Although details are sparse, Xociety Corporations (XCS), an initiative integrating real-world economies into the shooter to let users own, stake in and earn revenue from Xociety’s partner companies, is part of the deal.
“Explicit details on how this collaboration will be recognized remain under wraps, but XOCIETY’s revolutionary XCS system is poised to play a key role,” a spokesperson said via the game’s X channel.
“XOCIETY and adidas have a mutual focus on digital identity and creativity at the intersection of on-chain gaming and immersive, playable worlds.”
Among some of the prominent web3 initiatives Adidas have collaborated with in the past are Bored Apes, Stepn, and Doodles.
Currently in development, Xociety is set to launch on Sui’s gaming handheld SuiPlay0X1.
