Steel Media wins SpecialEffect’s #ChickenForCharity PUBG tournament as event raises over £10k

Steel Media’s team of ‘esports-ready’ Playerunknown’s Battlegrounds players took two chicken dinners on their way to winning SpecialEffect’s #ChickenForCharity tournament.

The event was a huge success and at the time of writing has raised more than £10,000 for SpecialEffect’s life-changing work with disabled gamers. So far our own page has raised £440.

They bravely fought through four fiercely competitive rounds across maps Erange, Miramar and Sanhok – bagging wins on the two latter maps.

Steel Media’s team, AKA ‘No Crates Policy’, racked up 1,410 points to take home the win. In second place was Creative Assembly, while Splash Damage took third.
