The global pre-registration for Hellsquad Rrrush!: Stone Rush, the web3 adaptation of LightCON’s casual roguelike tower defense game Hellsquad Rrrush!, is now open.
The new version is scheduled to launch through the Google Play store and the WEMIX PLAY platform in late September 2026. It follows the release of the original mobile game in July 2025, which has generated more than one million downloads and reached the top of Google Play’s Top Games chart within three days.
In the game, players summon squads of demons with different abilities and specializations, then position them to withstand successive waves of invading enemies.
In this manner, the gameplay combines accessible tower defense with roguelike progression, with players selecting upgrades, collecting treasures and building squad combinations around the specialized abilities of their heroes. Stone Rush retains this underlying structure while adding blockchain assets, token rewards and an expanded in-game economy.
The web3 version will introduce two main currencies. HELLSHARD is described as an in-game bridge currency earned through active gameplay. It can be used to unlock items and other currencies, including HELLSTONE.
HELLSTONE connects to the wider ecosystem because it can be exchanged for the WEMIX token, although Wemade has not yet published details covering exchange rates, withdrawal limits or the economic controls governing the system.
Players who pre-register for the game will receive AMBER tokens, PLAY tokens and exclusive character skins after the game launches.
AMBER can be spent on specialized items through a dedicated WEMIX PLAY webshop. PLAY is WEMIX PLAY’s broader platform utility token and can be used to purchase character skins and premium content across multiple games, giving it utility beyond Hellsquad Rrrush!: Stone Rush.
Additional AMBER tokens and skins will be distributed as the total number of registrations reaches community milestones, with some rewards allocated through random draws. A referral campaign will also award tiered amounts of AMBER and PLAY to users who meet qualifying registrations levels.
No official launch date has been provided, but the pre-registration countdown ends on 28th September
