After weeks of speculation about where it would go, Cambria now has a home for its forthcoming token. “RSGP is coming to Base,” founder Ben.ZZZ posted on X. He was quoting a “Cleared for landing” post from Aerodrome, the decentralized exchange that handles much of Base’s liquidity. The post drew more than 32,000 views.
The choice of Base follows the minting of Cambria’s Charter NFTs on Ethereum. The game’s early seasons ran on Ronin and Abstract, with this new batch of chain news following the announcement that Abstract is shutting down on 15th December.
As for the date of the token launch, there’s no official news, but community speculation suggests either 13th or 14th October. It’s also expected that the presale allocation will be fully unlocked at launch with no vesting.
Current Polymarket odds put the launch FDV at between $20 and $30 million.
As for the just-minted Charter NFTs, these are split between 512 Viceroys and 3,584 standard Citizen Charters. All of them sold out on 8th October, adding about $570,000 to the in-game Crown Treasury, which is a prize pool that will generate yield for NFT holders.
Price-wise, Viceroys are currently about 0.49 ETH, while Citizen Charters’ floor sits at 0.067 ETH, about 12% above the reported 0.06 ETH mint price.
