It’s no secret that Axie Infinity’s closed beta yielded some serious numbers thanks to its passionate players.
That’s been subsequently followed by its now open battle system drawing in more players and, as a result, a staggering number of recorded battles.
According to the game’s Twitter, players have managed to bring the total number of battles played to over 25,000 over its still brief time since release.
It’s through the same source that we see the number of Axies sold has hit over 900, with its most expensive asset being sold for 50 ETH ($10,000).
