Only part I disagree with you is that if this technology is integrated properly, the user will not need to know, nor worry about the complexities of the currency, as this would mainly be out of sight back-end. And as for waiting for gas and being slow, compared to the current micro-transactions system we are use to, this is based solely on the assumption that it would be Etherium based. Let’s say it was Stella, then we would be talking just as fast as Credit card micro-transactions, if not arguably faster.

The highest price per land is 600k mana (~$60k). There are 3 outliers for up to 2mm mana (~$200k). No one land was sold for over that. The average price today is 12.5k mana (~$1,250)

Comment on Which blockchain games companies have raised the most investment? by Jon Jordan https://www.blockchaingamer.biz/features/3586/blockchain-game-companies-ranked-by-investment/#comment-12 Wed, 13 Jun 2018 19:40:30 +0000 https://www.blockchaingamer.biz/?p=3586#comment-12 Agreed that the majority of these companies aren’t targeting game developers but the value of a platform like BitGuild is that it – hopefully – can provide audience scale, as well as an integrated marketplace between games and a shared token too.

I question the incentive for any game dev to use any of these services.
