With the MENA games market expected to be worth over $5 billion by 2025, there has never been a better time to recognize the driving forces behind this rapidly accelerating industry.
Indeed, the region is fast emerging as a global hub of web3 gaming, with numerous game developers and significant investors eyeing the region’s web3 prospects. Among the prominent companies in this regard is Animoca Brands with its co-investment with Saudi city NEOM announced in October 2023, as well as the more recent deal announced between Animoca and KACST, to bolster web3 gaming in Saudi Arabia.
