4th June: Fishing Frenzy
Ronin casual sim Fishing Frenzy has completed its 8-week season 1, with Derek Lau, the CEO of its developer Uncharted, providing some interesting figures.
There were:
- 1.8 million log ins for the web game, although this includes guests and “many bots”,
- 50,000 daily active unique users on average,
- 35,548 active wallets in total,
- 9,800 spending wallets with an average spend of 68 RON ($40),
- around 5,000 daily active unique wallets, and
- overall NFT trading volume of $200,000.
In terms of Fishing Frenzy’s season 2, Lau says the team is looking to further scale to news users as well as using tokens to improve engagement and drive growth, while also “making sure earning is not the expectation even if it’s a motivation”.
