F1 Delta Time launches 10 NFT car auctions; one for each F1 team

Following its successful one-off auctions of high-end cars, official F1 game F1 Delta Time has opened up its NFT marketplace to the current manufacturers.

This sees ten official F1 team cars – one from each team – up for auction.

The auction is now live and will run until 2 December (or earlier if the cars sell out).

And they’re off

Interestingly, developer Animoca Brands has decided to sell the cars in Dutch auction form, starting at 30 ETH (around $4,500), with the prices constantly dropping.

The previous F1 Delta Time auctions used the more traditional increasing auction model, which creates a more speculative elements as multiple bidders can drive the price higher and higher.

The difference in this case is 10 NFTs are being sold at the same time, so the pricing trigger point will likely be the price of the first car to sell, but we will have to wait and see what happens.

The vehicles being sold are as follows:

Mercedes AMG W10, Ferrari SF90, Red Bull Racing RB15, McLaren MCL34, Renault R.S.19, Racing Point RP19, Toro Rosso STR14, Alfa Romeo Racing C38, Haas VF-19, and Williams FW42.
