Titans of War, TCG from Hearthstone and Magic: The Gathering talent, comes to ImmutableX

Titans of War, the web3-based, triple-A strategic trading card game based on historical events, announces launch on ImmutableX. The company explained that ImmutableX was their preferred platform for its transition to web3 due to its security and scalability.

“As the ImmutableX ecosystem of high-quality web3 games keeps constantly growing, we are extremely pleased to welcome Titans of War and its highly-talented team…” said Andrew Sorokovsky, VP of Global Business Development at Immutable.

“Together, we are about to make yet another big step toward a more mature, inclusive, accessible, and user-friendly web3 gaming space that will attract both casual and hardcore gamers alike, regardless of whether they are already familiar with blockchain tech or not.”

Based on historical events, Titans of War is a blockchain strategic card game designed by a highly professional team with experience working on major names like DOTA 2, Hearthstone, League of Legends, Rome 2: Total War and more. The team includes Age of Empires producer Peter Bergstrom as Gaming Advisor and professional Magic: The Gathering player Joel Larsson as Head of Game Design.

For players, they have the choice of leader from an extensive range of historical figures, like Sun Tzu, Ragnar Lothbrok, Queen Victoria, and others, to gain access to their specific military units, inventions, tactics, and monuments. Consequently, Titans of War will also offer more combinations in deck-building mechanics, greater gameplay dimensions, and deeper strategy that will allow hardcore gamers endless opportunities to tinker with their decks while remaining accessible to beginners.

One of the features that sets Titans of War apart is its own take on a sustainable in-game economy – ‘Master-to-Earn’.

“We are excited to announce our partnership with ImmutableX, which will enable us to harness the power of blockchain technology to create new and innovative gaming experiences,” noted Titans of War CEO Maximiliam Jonsson. “With ImmutableX, we can build a more secure, transparent, and fair gaming ecosystem that benefits players and developers alike. Together, we can take gaming to the next level and unlock new opportunities for the industry. We believe that our collaboration with Immutable will help us create a better future for gaming and drive progress in the industry.”

Titans of War has been mostly self-financed, with $150,000 in funding received from angel investors such as CryptoBirb, Connor Kenny, and the research team from Delphi Digital.

The game’s beta release is currently scheduled to kick off in Q3 this year, with the full launch to follow in Q4. For more details about the game, visit the website.
