F2P battle royale shooter My Pet Hooligan has announced it has gone into early access via the Epic Games Store [actually this is happening at 11am PT, 6pm GMT]. And to further juice its launch, developer AMGI Studios has signed a 12-month deal with Amazon Prime Gaming.
This will offer all Amazon Prime subscribers free monthly drops of in-game assets including in-game wearables, skins and badges plus special offers. The first drop, which is now live, includes Max’s zip-up hoody, jeans and shoes, and Thumps by Kré black headphones.
“We put storytelling and animation first to create highly engaging gameplay. Some might like to skate around the city finding digital collectibles, battling other players, and destroying ZuckBots, while others will battle it out in Coinpocalypse or Anarchy Mode — and that is perfectly fine with us,” commented AMGI’s COO Luke Paglia.
“Having partners like Amazon Prime Gaming and Epic Games supporting us allows us to launch the game in a way that focuses solely on the gameplay and enriches the gamer experience.”
