FLOKI’s flagship play-to-earn MMORPG Valhalla has officially launched on mainnet

FLOKI, the self-proclaimed “people-powered” crypto brand just launched its highly anticipated blockchain title Valhalla on mainnet.
As of June 30th 2025, the browser-based, play-to-earn MMORPG became available to play worldwide, inviting players to dive into a world of turn-based battles and expansive exploration during the Viking-age.
Backed by a multi-million dollar treasury, the game is FLOKI’s most ambitious project to date, and aims to change the landscape of play-to-earn gaming for good. In setting out to accomplish that aim, FLOKI designed Valhalla to be the first community takeover project in crypto history, powering the game via the FLOKI token and offering its players rich on-chain mechanics, NFT-based characters, and a live economy. The goal is to let players earn while they play, without sacrificing fun, quality, or community.
These sentiments were expressed in a recent statement by Pedro Vidal, Community Relations Officer at FLOKI, who said that “(Valhalla) is not just about putting a game on-chain, it’s about making blockchain gaming better and delivering on the promise made to our community that we will fix many of the problems found within the blockchain P2E gaming space.”
“We’re not building for hype. We’re building something gamers actually want to play , and pushing the boundaries of what can be accomplished in the play-to-earn and blockchain gaming world… This is only the beginning.”
In anticipation of its mainnet launch, FLOKI has rolled out a massive marketing blitz. The campaign includes a 4-week YouTube run, a 5-week ad storm on Twitch, and mobile in-game rewards ads within games like Candy Crush and Call of Duty: Mobile.
The blockchain brand has also made moves to target mainstream audiences, notably through Valhalla’s sponshorship of the Baroda Premier League and becoming the Presenting Partner for the 2025 Global Esports Industry Week. The FLOKI brand also recently grabbed headlines with its Times Square billboard takeover and a U.S. national TV campaign, which is estimated to have reached over 219 million households.
Currently live on testnet at valhalla.game, the game has already released its latest patch (v0.35.0), featuring new Veras, amulets for deeper strategy, and a mysterious new resource called Vera Essence.
