Delabs Games to become an “AI-first game studio”
With the launch of its DELAB token happening alongside the launch of idle RPG Ragnarok Libre and another to-be-announced title, things are getting busy at South Korean game developer Delabs Games.
And it’s just getting started.
In a surprise move, the company has committed to adopting new genAI gamemaking platform Verse 8, which enables anyone to make multiplayer hypercasual games that also have the potential to use blockchain tech to run item-based marketplaces and economies.
These games are generated using text prompts.

Verse 8 has been developed by fellow South Korean game dev Planetarium and its CEO JC Kim has also joined Delabs as its new co-CEO to drive the company’s efforts in this area.
In particular, it plans to launch a series of AI-powered web3 titles based on its portfolio of popular game IPs.
Thanks to parent company 4:33 Creative Lab, Delabs has access to various games IPs including Seven Guardians, Ghostbusters World and DC Unchained.
“As an early investor and now as Co-CEO, I’m excited to help lead Delabs Games into its next chapter—transforming it into an AI-first game studio,” said JC Kim.
