Basejump launches its Solarpunk avatars on Immutable
US developer Basejump has signed up with Immutable to launch its Solarpunk interoperable game avatars.
Now available to create, users sign up using Discord and then the Immutable Passport to create their entry-level Shell Solarpunk.
This is levelled up through Core and Prime stages by playing the Broadside: Battle Mode PVP fighting game until the avatar has enough XP to be minted into a 1-of-1 Solarpunk NFT.
As well as being an interoperable avatar, Solarpunk NFTs also act as node for Basejump’s Action network, which means each one will receive an allocation of the forthcoming ACTION token, when it launches in 2026.
Avatars also generate daily amounts of Broadside: Battle Mode‘s BONES in-game currency, which is used to buy items.
Indeed, instead of levelling up your Shell avatar through gameplay, impatient users can just buy one directly at the cost of 250 BONES ($20).
As for the Action network, it will go live in 2026 using decentralized storage infrastructure Arweave and its AO blockchain, allowing users to create games using generative AI.
The only way to earn an allocation of ACTION will be owning a Solarpunk NFT or one of Broadside’s genesis Ethereum NFTs, playing Broadside: Battle Mode and spending BONES.
