Sunflower Land dev announces Ronin creature-collector Yakkamon
Thought Farm, the studio behind Sunflower Land, has unveiled Yakkamon, a new creature-collecting and idle farming game launching on Ronin in early access during Q4 2026.
Players will hunt and catch creatures known as Yakkamon before putting them to work farming, gathering resources and producing items. These activities continue while the player is offline, allowing progress to accumulate between sessions. Players will also be able to craft equipment, train their strongest monsters and compete against other trainers in an arena.
Yakkamon therefore combines three connected gameplay loops: collecting monsters, using them to automate resource production, and strengthening them for battle. Thought Farm has not yet provided detailed information about the combat system or clarified whether arena matches will take place live or asynchronously.
The game also marks a significant strategic expansion for Thought Farm. Rather than creating a separate token, Yakkamon will use FLOWER, the same token already used across the studio’s games. Yakkamon will run on Ronin, while players can make pre-launch FLOWER deposits using tokens on either Ronin or Base.
This effectively extends FLOWER beyond Sunflower Land and turns it into a broader Thought Farm ecosystem token. The approach reflects a growing trend among blockchain game developers, which are increasingly building several games around shared currencies, accounts or infrastructure rather than giving every title an isolated token economy.

Thought Farm has accompanied the announcement with Season 0, a pre-registration campaign that will determine access to Yakkamon’s first testing waves.
Registration is free and initially requires only an email address. Players do not need a crypto wallet or an existing Sunflower Land account to sign up.
However, registration alone does not guarantee early access. Players must earn points and finish among the top 100,000 trainers on the Season 0 leaderboard. Early access will then roll out in five waves, with the highest-ranked players entering first.
Points can be earned by nurturing a Monster Egg daily, completing social and community tasks, referring other players, linking accounts, participating in the forthcoming Ronin NFT mint and depositing FLOWER.
FLOWER deposits generate one point per token, with additional bonuses at larger milestones. For example, depositing 50,000 FLOWER generates 70,000 points. Deposited tokens can be withdrawn once the player gains access to the game.
Season 0 also includes two separate NFT distributions. A free mint will offer 10,000 Monster NFTs on Ronin, with minting also awarding leaderboard points. Separately, the top 5,000 trainers on the Season 0 leaderboard will receive Monster NFTs through an airdrop. The top 1,000 receive Legendary Monsters, while players ranked from 1,001 to 5,000 receive Rare Monsters.
Every person who pre-registers also receives a Monster Egg. However, the ordinary egg is an in-game item rather than an NFT. This allows players to begin without a wallet while reserving blockchain ownership for scarcer assets and collectibles.
The choice of Ronin is equally noteworthy, especially as Sunflower Land operates on the Polygon blockchain.
You can pre-register now on the Yakkamon website and read more on the official GitBook.
