Everreach Labs on its spectator-driven FPS Revenge

Closing out its successful airdrop campaign, Everreach Labs is now preparing to roll out pre-alpha of its anticipated flagship title Revenge.
With added confidence from launching on Immutable, it’s a good time to check in with Nicolas Bougartchev, the co-founder and CEO of Everreach Labs, to find out more about its forthcoming co-op focused FPS.
BlockchainGamer.biz: Can you give us some background on Everreach Labs?

Nicolas Bougartchev: Everreach Labs was created out of a desire to push the boundaries of gaming and set a new standard in the space. We wanted to establish a studio that isn’t afraid to experiment, innovate, and embrace the future of interactive entertainment. Our focus is on building immersive experiences that connect players and spectators, creating ecosystems where everyone has a role.
We’ve raised $5 million to-date to fuel this vision. Our team is composed of industry veterans who have designed and shipped some of the most iconic games in the industry, including Far Cry 3, Rainbow Six Siege, Fortnite, and more. Their expertise drives our commitment to delivering groundbreaking gameplay and deeply engaging experiences.
To further empower the gaming community, we’ve allocated $2.5 million to creators, providing incentives for content makers, streamers, and players to engage and build alongside us. Adding to this is our revolutionary integration with Twitch, which introduces an extra layer of interactivity for spectators, transforming passive viewers into active participants within the game itself.
At the core, Everreach Labs is redefining how games are played, experienced, and shared – pushing the industry forward with every step.
Can you tell us about Revenge, and why you decided to build the game using blockchain?
Revenge is our flagship project and represents everything we stand for. It’s a high-octane co-op FPS with a twist – spectators play an active role in the outcome of the game.
We chose blockchain because it allows us to give players true ownership of their in-game assets while creating a cohesive ecosystem with a marketplace and an economy that ties everything together. Revenge is more than just a game; it’s an ecosystem where players, spectators, and creators thrive together. Blockchain also provides transparency and longevity, ensuring that our community feels deeply invested in both the gameplay and the broader universe.
First-person shooters are a popular genre but hard to design sustainable tokenomics around. How are you looking to solve this?
This is a challenge we’ve spent a lot of time tackling. The key lies in creating a balanced ecosystem that rewards all participants without creating inflationary pitfalls. Revenge was developed with player engagement at its core. Its unique game loop incorporates a multi-currency system that incentivizes skill, engagement, and strategy.
Our goal is to create a sustainable economic model where both players and spectators feel valued, while ensuring the game remains fun and competitive.
With strong competition from the likes of Shrapnel and Off The Grid, how does Revenge stand out?
Competition is exciting – it drives innovation and pushes us to do better. What makes Revenge unique is its focus on co-op PvE gameplay that promotes teamwork to achieve a common goal. While there’s competition to be the best, collaboration is essential to succeed. Adding to this is our spectator-player dynamic, which introduces an extra layer of interactivity. Spectators aren’t just passive viewers; they influence the game in real time, adding strategy and unpredictability.
Combined with our surreal, maze-like arenas, dynamic gameplay loops, and community-driven approach, Revenge offers a gaming experience that’s truly one of a kind.
You recently hit pre-alpha with Season 1. What were you looking to achieve during this phase, and how did it go?
By the end of Season 1, we achieved some major milestones:
- Revenge is now among the top 25 most wishlisted games worldwide on Epic Games Store.
- Since registrations opened on December 23rd, we’ve seen over 450,000 users sign up – without any paid marketing.
- Over 540,000 wallets connected and actively participated in our Season 1 airdrop campaign.
Our focus during this phase was to gain initial traction, showcasing our development progress, and fostering community growth and partnerships.
The pre-alpha allowed us to test core mechanics and gather real-time feedback from players, which has been invaluable. It also generated excitement and validated our vision. Now, our next steps are to launch the pre-alpha, expand playtesting, and continue growing our player base.
You’ve recently announced that Revenge is one of the flagship titles launching on Immutable in 2025. How do you think this will benefit you?
Immutable is the perfect partner for Revenge. Their infrastructure enables us to scale efficiently without compromising security or player experience.
Launching on Immutable allows us to reach a broader audience, deliver seamless asset management, and establish Revenge as a top-tier web3 game. This partnership represents a significant milestone for Everreach Labs and will help us bring our vision to life on a global scale.
Are you integrating AI agents or leveraging any other AI technology in the game?
Absolutely. AI plays a crucial role in Revenge, both in enhancing gameplay and engaging our community.
- Phase 1: Player to agent – We’re using AI-driven social media engagement on platforms like Twitter and Discord to interact with the community. In-game, AI-driven dialogue dynamically adapts to player actions.
- Phase 2: Agent to agent and agent to game – Characters like MARA and D.E.V.O.N. will interact, influencing the game’s narrative and mechanics. AI will also dynamically adjust hazards, NPC behavior, and in-game conditions in real time.
- Phase 3: Agent to spectator – MARA evolves into a 24/7 Twitch live-streamer, directly engaging spectators. Viewers will influence gameplay through real-time commands and polls, while D.E.V.O.N. responds to community feedback dynamically.

AI allows us to create more dynamic and immersive experiences, making Revenge a truly interactive and evolving game. It’s an exciting space, and we’re only beginning to explore its full potential.
