Treeverse and Capsule Heroes coming to Immutable zkEVM

Blockchain game developer Endless Clouds has announced its forthcoming F2P titles Treeverse and Capsule Heroes will be deployed on Immutable’s zkEVM infrastructure, which runs on Polygon’s new scaling blockchain.

The games will also use Immutable’s Passport onboarding tech, which handles identity and wallet management using single sign-on.

Backed by the likes of Animoca Brands, Skyvision Capital and Momentum 6, Endless Clouds has been working on RPG Treeverse for a couple of years, while PVP brawler Capsule Heroes is a newer product, emerging out of the company’s game jams.

Both titles will be released in open alpha and beta formats in 2024, enabling their communities to participate in the development process.

“Community support for our studio has been incredible, and with the highly anticipated releases of Treeverse and Capsule Heroes nearing fruition, we needed to make a critical infrastructure decision for where our games will be featured. After carefully considering our options, we confidently selected Immutable to be the home of both titles, knowing the seamless and efficient experience our community will encounter when building on Immutable’s zkEVM technology,” commented Endless Clouds’ founder Loopify.

“With this partnership we aren’t just signaling a promising future for these two titles – we’re continuing to drive a turning point for the overall games industry as the blockchain vertical continues to mature,” added Immutable president Robbie Ferguson.
