Ubisoft and Cross The Ages unveil Watch Dogs card collection

One of 2023’s biggest launches in the TCG genre was narrative-driven PC-mobile game Cross The Ages. With its strategic heptagram-based complexity, it quickly climbed the ranks among web3 card games and was at one point among the most downloaded on Apple App Store in countries ranging from France to Australia and Japan, although it’s not clear how much marketing money accelerated this.

Among other prominent partners and investors in the game such as Animoca Brands, Ubisoft also participated in a $12 million funding round in 2022 – so the recent announcement of a collaboration between the companies is no surprise.

In more detail, the announcement entails the launch of a new card collection in Cross The Ages, which consists of 51 cards based on Ubisoft’s action-adventure web2 game franchise Watch Dogs. 24 different Watch Dogs characters, including protagonist Aiden Pearce, his informant Clara Lille, and Marcus Holloway, will be featured in the collection, which is set to release gradually from 3rd April. Following the initial launch, 17 cards will be launched each month spanning across three months.

In conjunction with unveiling the news, Cross The Ages has also released a teaser trailer ahead of the release.
