In an interesting tie-up, blockchain gaming ecosystem Immutable and web3 development platform Sequence have announced a strategic partnership.
This will enable developers using Sequence’s tools and tech to integrate directly into the Immutable zkEVM blockchain to launch and scale their games.
In order to smooth such experiences, Immutable will now integrate Sequence’s Embedded Wallet within its Immutable Passport, while Sequence will start supporting Immutable’s marketplace contracts and orderbook within its marketplace builder.
One result will be the launch of combined technology labelled Immutable Builder powered by Sequence.

This marks a significant step forward for the web3 gaming space, and makes the choice of where to build even simpler for game developers,” commented Immutable’s CTO Alex Connolly.
