Apeiron goes live through app stores in southeast Asia
Ronin-based god-game-infused-dungeon-crawler Apeiron has gone live through Apple and Google app stores.
The release – which is formally titled Apeiron: Godling Genesis – is currently geographically limited to southeast Asia, Hong Kong, and Japan. Developer Foonie Magus hope to extent this to US, China, and Latin America in 2025.
It’s also worth pointing out that this version of the game mirrors the version that’s been live for PC via Epic Games Store and Mavis Store in 2024 and focuses on the core dungeon-based action gameplay. The higher level god game metaplay isn’t yet integrated into the experience. Again, this is something we’d expect to see more of in 2025.
However, there are some new features in this mobile release, including an official battle pass and webstore. The battle pass is a seasonal subscription that rewards players for daily progress, while the webstore offers various packages and earning multiplier items purchasable with Apeiron’s in-game tokens.
Progress in the mobile version of the game will also be included in the game’s ongoing rewards, with Season 4 running until 15th January. It has a prize pool including 240,000 APRS tokens, worth around $50,000 at current prices.
“Our goal has always been to make Apeiron accessible to players worldwide, and we are excited to bring Apeiron: Godling Genesis to a new audience of gamers through the Apple App Store and Google Play,” said Foonie Magus CEO Frank Cheng.
“With blockchain technology and UGC, Apeiron introduces a unique meta-game layer where players can own, create, and connect their in-game experiences. This adds new dimensions to gameplay, offering deeper engagement and expanding the game’s universe with endless opportunities for players and creators alike.”
