Building on its recent strategic rebrand, Netmarble’s blockchain arm Marblex has unveiled its 2025 roadmap.
As part of its plans revolving around the new “fun comes first” company slogan, Marblex has announced seven titles which will be rolled out and deployed on the Immutable blockchain during 2025.
- Biz sim Self-made Billionaire and RPG Mercenary Children are scheduled for Q2.
- Monopoly-style Dice Go!, RPG Meta Toy: Dragonz Saga, and farming sim Project Mine are scheduled for Q3.
- Action RPG Project X and MMORPG Mad Island: Age of Chaos are scheduled for Q4.
As part of their deeper partnership, Immutable and Netmarble are also launching a joint fund of $20 million, which serves as an incentive to new game developers looking to onboard the ecosystem. In what it calls its “semi-publishing” model, plans also include Marblex reinvesting its revenue share into the Marblex ecosystem in hope that it will drive token value and build community.
In a first initiative, Marblex and Dracoon Ventures are co-hosting a $1 million game hackathon called MBX, Hack the FUN, as part of TOKEN2049 Dubai, which takes place 30th April-1st May 2025.
