EVM Polkadot ecosystem launches its Moonbeam Gaming Hub

Polkadot-based EVM-compatible smart contract platform Moonbeam has launched the Moonbeam Gaming Hub.

This is a dedicated portal designed to highlight the growing ecosystem of games, tools, and tournaments that are building on Moonbeam.

One important part of the hub is the Moonbeam Game Builder, which is a white-labeled site powered by web3 gaming platform Sequence. This enables developers to launch fully onchain games, by leveraging Sequence’s integrations with the likes of Unity and Unreal.

Another integrated provider within Moonbeam Gaming Hub is N3MUS, which runs various tournaments and leaderboards, as well as more generally acting as a discovery site for live and upcoming games built on Moonbeam.

“Moonbeam has always focused on reducing complexity for developers and users,” said Moonbeam’s head of ecosystem Sicco Naets.

“The Gaming Hub extends that commitment into Web3 gaming by offering a unified experience that brings together infrastructure, discovery, and community engagement in one place.

“We’re focused on nurturing a carefully curated collection of games by providing the tools, development support, and tournament infrastructure needed to take projects from concept to hundreds of on-chain gameplays.”

“With N3MUS, we’re seeing growing demand for competition. Weekly subsidized tournament rewards have led to a surge in on-chain gaming activity and drawn competitive players from across the globe.”
