Wemade has integrated its web3 payment solution Wemix Pay into Mir4.
Remaining the most popular web3-enabled game from Wemade, although with strong competition from Night Crows, Mir4 contains web3 assets like DRACO and other in-game items that are tradable in its marketplace.
With Wemix Pay, players can buy items using WEMIX tokens – with future fiat payments in progress. In return, for every eligible transaction made, users are rewarded with Mileage points. These can be converted into PLAY tokens, web3 platform Wemix Play’s main token.
In terms of WEMIX, the token recently saw a 60% price plunge following five main South Korean exchanges announcing the token’s delisting from 2nd June. It has since recovered marginally.
As for Mir4, the Unreal Engine built game launched in 2021.
As such it’s one of the earliest games to blend traditional MMORPG elements with web3 features. Based on PC and mobile, it’s available across iOS, Android and Steam, with a current player base of 190,000.
