GFAL expands lineup with World War II: TCG, Legends and Diamond Jewels Solitaire

Games for a Living (GFAL) is expanding its portfolio with World War II: TCG, fantasy football management game Legends, and Diamond Jewels Solitaire, adding military strategy, sports and another casual gaming format to its lineup. The company has outlined plans for initial releases and testing during Q4.

World War II: TCG marks the return of an established title developed by FrozenShard, the studio co-founded by GFAL executives Marc Tormo and Christian Gascons.

The original was a free-to-play mobile and PC collectible card game featuring historical units, weapons and orders across German, Russian, American, Japanese and British factions. Players spent action points to deploy cards and promote units, improving their statistics and abilities. Destroyed units returned to the deck and could be drawn again already upgraded. Its previous features included campaigns, cross-platform PvP, raids, guilds and crafting.

FrozenShard ended the game’s service in 2022 following the closure of backend provider GameSparks. The developer said the complexity of migrating its games prevented it from finding a viable alternative. The original was available on iOS and Android, with a Steam version also released.

GFAL’s public roadmap targets a World War II: TCG beta during Q4 2026. The announcement does not specify which features will carry into the returning version, its supported platforms, or whether cards will incorporate blockchain ownership.

Legends is described in GFAL’s announcement as a new football management game, with an alpha listed for Q4 2026. Details about its management systems, player licensing and competitive structure remain limited in the available materials.

Diamond Jewels Solitaire extends the company’s core jewelry-themed brand into another game format. The existing Diamond Jewels Match combines match-3 puzzles with jewelry creation, customization and collectible trading. The new announcement targets a first beta during Q4.
