Legend of YMIR adds Assassin class for first anniversary

WEMADE has launched a first-anniversary update for its blockchain-enabled MMORPG Legend of YMIR, adding an Assassin class, accelerated progression servers and a series of player rewards. The update begins a content schedule running from October through December.

Released globally on 28th October 2025, the Unreal Engine 5 game combines Norse mythology with character development and large-scale battles between servers. It is available on PC and mobile, with its global version incorporating a WEMIX-linked economy.

The Assassin introduces a combat style built around fast movement, sword attacks and shadow abilities. Players can mark opponents, exploit openings and combine with a shadow entity called Bane to strengthen their skills. Although the class uses swords, WEMADE describes it as a physical ranged class.

Existing players can switch to the Assassin through a class-change system that carries over their character progress. According to the official patch notes, changing class requires a ticket purchased from the in-game shop, alongside resources used to convert equipment and other character assets. The class-change period runs until 3rd November.

Alongside the new class, WEMADE has opened Boot Camp Season 2, a seasonal server initiative aimed at new and returning players. These servers provide a +600% hunting experience bonus up to level 65, hunting buffs and additional progression support.

Participants receive equipment, summoned creatures and upgrade materials, with further rewards available through dedicated events and passes. Players who reach level 65 can graduate and transfer to another server within their region during the scheduled transfer period.

The season is designed to reduce the time needed to build a competitive character before joining the established player population. Boot Camp servers also have a separate regional trading environment during the season.

WEMADE says its anniversary pre-registration campaign attracted more than 100,000 participants, unlocking a special Legendary Companion reward for active players. Pre-registrants receive additional bonuses, while anniversary missions offer opportunities to obtain legendary-grade Disirs and Valkyries.

The company is also running an Einherjar Fellowship referral event, rewarding existing players for inviting newcomers and former players back to the game. Rewards depend on invited players completing designated missions, with higher tiers available to successful inviters and mythical-grade rewards offered to leading participants.

Further additions are scheduled for December, including mythical-grade Disirs and Valkyries. A separate 14-day Boot Camp check-in event will offer a legendary Valkyrie on day seven and a legendary Disir on day 14, including for eligible players joining after the anniversary event.
