Ultra launching $1 million in developer grants
Web3 ecosystem Ultra has launched a $1 million developer grant pool to fuel innovators building on its blockchain.
Aimed for developers making anything from games and dapps to tools and other onchain services, the grants program is divided into three categories:
- Micro grants – up to $5,000 – for prototypes, proof of concepts and MVPs.
- Seed grants – $5,000-$50,000 – for tools, dApps, and integrations.
- Strategic grants – $50,000-$250,000 – for games, and high-level integrations and tech.
Any relevant project can submit an application for a grant, which will then be reviewed by an internal committee consisting of Ultra team members and advisors.
After this, shortlisted applicants will be presented to a core Ultra community of UOS token holders who will vote on the selected projects.
Successful teams will receive grants on a bi-weekly basis, which are based on whether they meet the pre-decided milestones.
Interested teams can apply here, and contact the team at [email protected] or on Discord for further queries.
More generally, having raised $12 million earlier in 2025, new CEO Gus van Rijckevorsel is now looking to scale the blockchain gaming platform to make it truly mass-market, as he explained in this recent interview.
