Due for a global release in 2026, Sky Mavis’ new Axie MMO Atia’s Legacy is rolling out its first alpha test on Thursday 25th September.
Running for one week, it will conclude on 2nd October.
Available for around 1,000 eligible Axie community participants, the playtest will be accessible for iOS and Android via the APK and Testflight App.
While this drop is exclusively on mobile, the team says “more information about availability on other platforms during future releases” is to be expected.
With single-player, PVE and leaderboard modes, this playtest is aimed at gathering early feedback. In particular, players will get a taste of Atia’s Legacy’s
- Graphics and visuals
- Movement through a small town and wild area
- Battles including boss
- Squad-building with playtest Axies
- NPC interactions and lore
- In-game shop for purchase of weapons and armor needed to enhance their squads
As far as onchain features go, the only one for this test is playable Mystic Axie NFTs.
Players can earn in-game resource gold through battles, but all progress from the test will be reset by the end of the seven days.
