Following earlier rumors, Mythical Games has formally announced its support for human ID network World.
The deal will see the Mythos Chain expanding, launching the first layer 3 blockchain based on World Chain, which is World’s Ethereum-based L2 blockchain and built on the OP Stack.
In this way, Mythos will gain access to World’s proof-of-human ID technology, which will help it build a fairer ecosystem in terms of features such as matchmaking, leaderboards and rewards.
The integration could also mean that transactions from verified human users get higher priority or incur lower fees.
These features will become increasingly important as AI agents become more popular.
