Fly Penguin taps up Ludo for sushi RPG Edomae Monsters’ launch
Preparing for the official launch of its hack-and-slash sushi RPG Edomae Monsters, Japanese mobile game developer Fly Penguin has partnered with web3 tool provider Ludo.
Acknowledging the challenges of scaling beyond the niche crypto gaming crowd, Fly Penguin looks to use external tools to build and retain a strong community. For instance, user acquisition, increasing retention, and growing daily user numbers are highlighted as difficult areas.
By tapping into Ludo’s engagement tools, which revolve around rewarding loyalty points for user behaviour, it hopes to solve these issues. More particularly, Ludo’s program allow users to earn points for activities including daily logins on social platforms and posting content featuring specific hashtags. In turn, these points can be exchanged for various in-game items, and more.
In terms of Edomae Monsters, it’s built on Oasys L2 blockchain Seamoon, and operated by DMM Crypto. Described as a hack-and-slash RPG featuring a sushi sales simulation element, it’s set for official launch later in 2024.
