Mythical’s FIFA Rivals due out in summer 2025
Expanding its web3 game ecosystem, Mythical Games has announced a new title, FIFA Rivals, coming in summer 2025.
Following the success of NFL Rivals, the developer is now looking to gain a more global player audience by venturing into soccer, as Americans call it, and football as most of the rest of the world knows it.
With very few details yet revealed, the game is officially licensed by the international football federation FIFA and expected to launch for iOS and Android devices in the summer of 2025 on the Mythos Chain, also sharing the Mythical Market with other titles in the ecosystem.
Player will have the opportunity to create and manage their own football club, building, levelling up, and enhancing their lineups, and then use their teams against other players in real-time PvP arcade-style gameplay.
“The combination of officially licensed football stars (past and present), prestigious clubs from around the world, and globally competitive esports gameplay will take sports gameplay to a new level. Through this long-term partnership with FIFA, there are major plans to integrate into the FIFA esports platform to give players in every country the ability to become a participant or fan,” commented Mythical’s CEO John Linden.
Beside NFL Rivals, Mythical Games is also building Blankos Mobile and Pudgy Party, as well as its already launched Nitro Nation World Tour.
