BGA’s fifth annual State of the Industry Survey closes on Friday 12th September

Now into its fifth year, the Blockchain Game Alliance has opened up its annual survey for blockchain gaming industry professionals to provide feedback on their status and sentiment.

This year, the survey’s structure has been overhauled to streamline the process. Notably this means the number of questions has been reduced from 23 to 12.

Themes addressed include

  • the role of artificial intelligence,
  • new models in user acquisition and monetization,
  • developments in policy and regulation,
  • progress with blockchain infrastructure,
  • as well as changes in community dynamics.

The survey’s closing section also provides an open-ended question that invites participants to share their personal perspective on the state of the industry in more detail.

Selected responses will be published in the resulting report and attributed to the respondent including their full name, company, title, and headshot.

In addition, respondents go into the draw to win one of three prizes: a Nintendo Switch or two €50 Amazon vouchers. Eligibility is limited to professionals working in the blockchain gaming industry who provide their official company email address for validation purposes.

“Each year, the survey reflects the issues most relevant to our members and the wider industry. While AI is one of this year’s hot topics, the real value of the survey is in capturing how industry professionals actually feel about these trends. This is an opportunity to see which ideas are having a real impact on blockchain gaming, and which remain mostly hype,” commented the BGA’s co-president Yasmina Kazitani.
