Animoca Brands and Brinc kick-off new $30 million Guild Accelerator program

Animoca Brands has made its bones by identifying and supporting the major projects within the blockchain space. Its stands to reason, then, that it would team up with the well-known VC accelerator Brinc to support projects within the play-to-earn guild ecosystem.

Spearheaded by Animoca Brands’ entrepreneur-in-residence, Richard Robinson, the Guild Accelerator Program will provide individual guilds with up to $500,000 in funding. Along with the capital investment, the program boasts institutional and industrial knowledge from highly skilled individuals, to provide the mentorship necessary to ensure long-term growth.

The Guild Accelerator Program would be comprised of the mentoring & professional skills of the likes of Brendan Wong (founder of Avocado Guild), Saruboti Sasuke (head of partnerships for YGG), Howard Xu (co-founder of the Vietnam-based guild Ancient8).

While part of Launchpad Luna, the Guild Accelerator Program will operate as a dedicated track. For those interested, you can submit an online application right here until the 27th of February, with the first cohort slated to start in May.
