Animoca Brands and Cube Entertainment complete establishment of AniCube joint venture
Animoca Brands and Cube entertainment have announced the completion of a new collaborative venture. Known as ‘Anicube’, the venture’s focus will be on creating a music-based metaverse with its own NFTs and digital tokens based on the intellectual property of Cube Ent’s line-up of K-Pop music artists. Anicube will also be bringing these artists to Animoca’s subsidiary project, The Sandbox.
Yat Siu, co-founder and executive chairman of Animoca Brands commented: “As a fan of K-pop and Korean culture, I am thrilled to contribute to AniCube, a JV that will guide K-pop music creators and fans in the open music metaverse and help them to enjoy true digital property rights and the other benefits of blockchain and NFTs.”
