The online merchant solution Shopify has increased its range of NFTs, allowing merchants to design, mint and sell Avalance NFTs. By using the merchant app, stores using shopify can sell their own NFTs with minimal knowledge of the technical requirements.
According to the company press release, the new integration aims to make Avalance NFT sales easy to navigate across their entire lifecycle. Much akin to other NFTs covered by Shopify, owners can earn royalties on any additional transactions involving their assets.
Having introduced its first digital asset integration back in July 2021, Shopify cuts out the middle-man, allowing merchants to sell their assets directly on-platform. This utility also helped the platform collaborate with the NBA Chicago Bulls by launching its own NFT series.
