Oxalis raises $2 million for farming RPG Moonfrost

UK game developer Oxalis Games has announced it’s closed new funding worth $2 million to build out its forthcoming pixel art life-simulation farming RPG Moonfrost.
The funding was co-led by L1D and Arete Capital, with participation from Merit Circle, Selini Capital, EthLizards, and W3GG DAO.
Announcing funding of $4.5 million in June 2022 from the likes of Animoca, Supercell, Pantera and Griffin Gaming Partners, Oxalis has been working on the PC game ever since, completing its third closed alpha test in July.
Its next closed alpha is scheduled for later in October when up to 11,000 players will get to play the game’s Farm Royale mode, in which they’ll farm competitively against each other.
In addition to this ongoing testing, Moonfrost will be showcased at the MCM Comic Con from 25-27th October in London, where it will share a booth with Farming Simulator. You can also check out the game’s soundtrack, which is now live via Spotify.
Find out more via the Moonfrost website and wishlist it via Epic Games Store.
