Big Time releases PVP wagering mode on 2nd December
Big Time Studios has announced it’s releasing the PVP mode for PC-based multiplayer action RPG Big Time on 2nd December.
The release follows the game’s prolonged early access, which saw record-breaking engagement as well as marketplace volume, with Big Time Studios claiming:
- 1.4 million unique platform users, with 310,681 players participating in its preseason,
- $443 million in total marketplace volume from 60,342 purchasers,
- 28,820 average BIGTIME ($4,170) grant to players, and
- 2 million NFTs sold
As for Big Time, it’s a F2P fast-paced combat MMORPG, which has been expanding both in terms of game features, blockchain economy and community since the game’s inception in 2020.
Featuring dungeons, crafting and mystery boxes, players are challenged to build teams in order to win battles with the ultimate goal of saving humanity. Players can either go solo or team up with friends, collecting in-game NFTs and earning BIGTIME tokens.
With the forthcoming release of PVP, the game will introduce wagering events where teams spend BIGTIME to enter a PVP portal, where they face battles against both enemies and other teams. Matches last between 30-45 minutes, with the winning team getting the BIGTIME prize pool.
