MetaGravity partners with ChronoForge to unlock multiplayer features
Web3 multiplayer tech company MetaGravity has announced a partnership with web3 game dev Minted Loot to unlock multiplayer gaming modes in ChronoForge.
By leveraging its Hyperscale Engine tech, MetaGravity will bring real time multiplayer mechanics into ARPG ChronoForge and its community-based events. More specifically, it enables ChronoForge to facilitate for at least 1,000 concurrent users without compromising on the game’s quality.
Initially the integration is focusing on scaling ChronoForge’s PVE Overworld mode. Eventually this will be followed by the introduction of hyperscale PVP and dungeon-based game formats.
As for its technical features, MetaGravity’s Hyperscale tech includes
- scalable netcode,
- client rendering, and
- advanced memory optimisations.
Among MetaGravity’s other blockchain-based partner games are Star Atlas and Edge of Chaos.
