After reworking most of its reward system during 2024, Sky Mavis has launched a new service aiming to bring new players into its flagship title Axie Infinity.
Working as an onboarding point for players who don’t own any axies, the new Axie Adoption Center lets users receive delegated axies they can use in-game.
By completing a certain amount of missions in order to earn points within a 30-day period, players can then redeem those points in return for the axies.
Users referring friends to the Axie Adoption Centre which leads to an actual delegation will be rewarded with 0.5 AXS. Additionally, by creating educational content revolving around the new feature users can earn rewards from a 250 AXS prize pool. To mark the launch, there will also be a raffle hosted on 2nd January, to which users completing certain onboarding missions and referring friends will earn tickets.
Currently, the price of Axie’s AXS token sits at $9.37, up 114% over the last 30 days.
To join the Axie Adoption Center and get delegated axies, users must first create a wallet on Ronin and connect to the game’s Discord. Only accounts without any axies are eligible to use the service.
