Delabs Games launches Boxing Star X via Telegram and Line

After halting the development of its inaugural web3 games, Delabs Games has now launched Boxing Star X via Telegram and Line Messenger.

Helmed by former CEO of South Korean gaming company Nexon Joonmo Kwon, and backed by game developer 4:33, at the end of 2024 Delabs Games unveiled it was pivoting to build midcore games for messaging platforms like Telegram and Line, as part of its new strategic focus.

Backed by funding from TON Foundation and private investor Noah Kim, multiple games are part of its new initiative, including a publishing deal for the popular South Korean IP Ragnarok, which is set to launch on Telegram in Q1 2025.

Now with Boxing Star X launching, both Telegram and Line welcome their first web3 boxing title as part their growing game libraries. Powered by the underlying TON and Kaia blockchains, users will also be able to stack up rewards in order to earn KAIA and DELABS tokens.

Under the slogan Stop Tapping, Start Punching – Boxing Star X players are encouraged to participate in the game’s airdrop campaign. By building up Champion’s Mark to climb the leaderboard, as well as resources including Trophy Star Badges, P-coin and Costume NFTs, users will become eligible for the DELABS airdrop.

Labelling its community a key growth engine, Delabs’ referral system is also designed to reward users contributing to the larger Delabs Games ecosystem. Starting with Boxing Star X, users can earn up to 30% of the token revenue generated by their referred users, based on players’ engagement level in the game. In addition, they’ll be eligible for a 5% bonus of their DELABS airdrop allocation.
