EtherMage fails to reach soft cap, officially discontinues development
Sad time for its backers
Setting up and having a pre-sale is by no means easy.
Even for those that do decide to use it as a source of funding, there’s no guarantee of success.
That’s the unfortunate reality for the trading card game, EtherMage, which has recently announced that it has failed to meet its soft cap target in a Medium post recently:
“With a heavy heart, the developers of EtherMage would like to announce that due to the unsuccessful Presale thus far, the development of EtherMage can no longer continue.”
Pre-sale refund
Along with the statement, EtherMage has announced that it will be fully refunding those that took part in the sale. Investors will be able to claim their refund from 18th September until 17th October.
The company states that refunds are only available for those that bought the pre-sale cards, however, with no reimbursement for those that participated in giveaways or S-Gem sales.
EtherMage expressed its gratitude to its community for their support, in spite of the projects inability to raise sufficient funds.
“We sincerely thank our community for all your love and support, and we hope to continue bringing better games and products to you in the future.”
