Blockchain gaming tools outfit Alto decloaks
Building for the ‘item-first economy’
Not content with making blockchain games, Philippines-based mobile game developer Altitude Games has announced it’s spun-out a company to help other developers make blockchain games.
Our mission is to help developers create games sustainably by giving them the tools needed to connect to the blockchain
Called Alto and based in Singapore, it’s headed up by Chase Freo, who was previously CMO at Chinese developer R2 Games. Altitude’s CTO Paul Gadi takes the same position in the new outfit.
Making items pay
Altitude’s CEO Gabby Dizon is chairman.
Taking what he calls an “item-first approach,” Dizon says Alto will make it easy for game developers to mint, sell, and trade crypto-items and earn income from these items.
“Our mission at Alto is to help developers create games sustainably by giving them the tools needed to connect their games to the blockchain,” he comments.
