Project Genesis showcases updates and footage of 8v8 battle
Interstellar battles have never looked so good.
Project Genesis has undergone a lot of changes between its humble origins and now. Fortunately, there has been plenty of activity from the team on social media, meaning an abundance of updates.
Specifically, the team wanted to address some of the outstanding issues which presented stumbling blocks to entry.
One of these is the transition of playstyles which takes place, meaning that the interface needs to ensure the player isn’t bogged down with information.
As a result, the team has created a Heads-Up Display (HUD) that allows for a fluid transition from space battles to FPS.
Multi-player battles
In space, no-one can hear you lose a battle, which makes the inclusion of multi-player battles all the more interesting. So far, Project Genesis has introduced 4v4 matches as of January 2019, and was set on increasing this capacity over Q1 2019.
At this moment in time, the team is aiming at unveiling 8v8 playtesting, with interesting results. Check them out right here.
