New chain looking for new dapps
Having just closed a $12.1 million seed round, US blockchain developer Near Inc. is gearing up for a late 2019 mainnet launch of its Near Protocol.
But a mainnet launch isn’t very exciting without any dapps running on it, and that’s why the San Francisco outfit is reaching out to developers.
Its Beta Program is now open for applications.
Some key points about the Near Protocol include its sharded, proof-of-stake consensus, plus ease of writing smart contracts and great tools for rapid prototyping.
More specifically, developers accepted onto the program will gain a dedicated adviser, an allocation of NEAR tokens, and access to a private developer forum.
