F1 Delta Time kicks off 2020 with Azure Dragon auction

First of four mythical Chinese creature-themed vehicle sales

With the F1 season starting on 15 March in Australia, things are also hotting up in the world of F1 Delta Time.

Developer Animoca Brands – one of our 2020 Top 50 Blockchain Game Companies – has announced a new wave of auctions over the coming months which looks to be targeting a Chinese audience.

The first of these will see an ultra-rare “Azure Dragon”-themed car sold by auction, which will start on Friday 23 January and run for three days.

Officially labelled “China Edition 2019 Azure Dragon”, it’s the first of four Guardian cars, each of which will feature mythical Chinese creatures. The others are White Tiger, Black Tortoise and Vermillion Bird.

Aside from the high level of in-game performance stats these cars have, each will also provide a unique boost when racing on the Shanghai International Circuit.

More F1 cars to buy

These auctions will be the third set Animoca Brands has run to-date.

The first saw the sale of four cars, mainly themed country-themed, while the second set saw one car from each of the 10 F1 constructors teams sold.

F1 Delta Time parts are also now available to purchase on the OpenSea marketplace.
