Players in north and south America can get access to blockchain-enabled MMORPG ArcheWorld, thanks to developer XLGames opening up pre-registration.
Having launched in Asia last year, the ArcheWorld team has announced that ongoing success and stability have allowed it to press ahead with global expansion, starting with the Americas. The game will fully launch in the regions on 20th April.
Those interested in getting their hands on the game sooner can join the pre-registration, with the added incentive of being part of a Land NFT minting event. Those signing up will receive exclusive gifts, including the potential of earning land NFTs through referring friends.
XLGames also took the opportunity highlight its use of Haechi’s Face Wallet, which will enable players to pre-register their wallets with no blockchain knowledge required.
Through ArcheWorld, XLGames’ CEO Jake Song explained how it aims to place the focus on user enjoyment, with blockchain mechanics simply being an added benefit, allowing the game to break with some of the more negative connotations that can come with blockchain gaming.
