Finnish developer Tribo Games has announced that its debut game Rumble Arcade will launch on Avalanche-based L2 Beam, which is being deployed by blockchain gaming DAO Merit Circle.
The news is part of a strategic agreement between the two companies, including funding, which is part of Tribo’s recent investment round. The amount raised was not disclosed.
Other companies involved in the investment included 32-Bit Ventures, Avalanche Foundation, and LiquidX Ventures, plus Tribo’s original investors Play Ventures and Sisu Game Ventures, who were part of its $1.2 million pre-seed round in October 2022.
Angels such as Sebastian Knutsson (King co-founder), Gabby Dizon (YGG), and Sebastien Borget (The Sandbox) also got involved.
As for Rumble Arcade, the PvP squad-battler is currently available in alpha form, with its formal launch on mobile and PC due sometime in 2024. Tribo also has a collection of PFP NFTs called Flameys live on Ethereum.
