Esports Labs has moved from development to its first closed alpha
“Tournaments as a service platform” is an interesting concept, especially when blockchain is used to help create it. This appears to be the direction of choice for Esports Labs, specifically with its project – Esports Showdown.
There’s still a long way to go in its development, but January will see the testing of its closed alpha.
According to the team, this will consist of players logging into the platform and competing over the mobile game – Super Asteroids.
For publishers, advertisers and players, Esports Labs believes that it offers a mutually beneficial ecosystem. With players actively engaging with competitions within games with the chance of winning prizes. Advertisers being about to promote and even offer their products as rewards.
